CamJam 2027 Theme Reveal: Through the Decades!
Through the Decades
Six decades. One incredible CamJam.
Pack your bags, dust off your dancing shoes and get ready to time-travel! At CamJam 2027, we’re taking everyone on a journey from the rock ’n’ roll 1950s all the way to the 2000s
Every corner of CamJam will belong to a different decade. As you move around the site, you’ll step from one era into the next, each with its own look, sound and feel. Every Subcamp will have its own atmosphere, activities, entertainment and a few surprises along the way.
1950s · STAFF & YOUTH SERVICE TEAM
Where it all begins
Slick back your hair and pop a coin in the jukebox! The Staff and Youth Service Team (YST) Subcamp takes us back to the 1950s, the decade of rock ’n’ roll, milkshakes and poodle skirts. This is where our journey starts.
1960s · 1970s · 1980s · 1990s · CONTINGENT SUBCAMPS
Four decades, four Subcamps, endless fun
Our Contingent Subcamps will each take on one unforgettable decade:
- 1960s: Peace, love and flower power. Think the swinging 60s, bright patterns and the start of a musical revolution.
- 1970s: Flares, disco balls and the sounds of the 70s. Get ready to boogie!
- 1980s: Neon, boomboxes and big hair. The 80s are bold, bright and impossible to ignore.
- 1990s: Bucket hats, portable CD players and the unmistakable 90s. All that and a bag of chips!
Which decade will your Contingent call home?
2000s · JUNIOR CAMJAM
Bringing it right up to date
Junior CamJam is jumping into the 2000s, the era of MP3 players, flip phones and pop anthems. It’s the final stop on our journey through the decades, and a great place to finish!
